Launched in 2015, Kind Community is a 501(c)(3) with a mission to provide outreach and education to cultivate positive school and community cultures. The regional initiative encourages individuals, parents, educators, and business, service and community leaders to live in the positive while providing tools that empower students to actively create the environments in which they wish to live, work, play and learn. Kind Community serves as a bridge-building alliance with a shared vision for the greater, kinder good of our community—where resources are pooled, partnerships are created, and diverse yet collaborative efforts are celebrated. Similar (and even competing) ideas, events, campaigns, projects, platforms, etc. co-exist under one exciting umbrella of unity and proactive engagement.
